At the same time you can’t be bothered to empty it. Not even a minute in, you light the cigarette you were saving for your coffee. You’re agitated, exhausted. Not to mention the kettle’s being a slow piece of shit.
Take the opportunity to put two scoops of coffee into the mug. You’re cutting down; you used to take four. Fucking addict. You forget that you smoke fast, so you’re already more than halfway through your cigarette. Oh, and the kettle’s still taking its time.
This is the part where you hit something in frustration. (Violent fucker). Your cup is ready but the kettle isn’t. You don’t take sugar - sweet things piss you off. No milk either, hell no. You like your coffee black just like your metal.
